How long will it take to get this Health & Safety system in place?
- Depending on whether or not you have health & safety disciplines in place, your commitment, plus, the size and complexity of your business, within 3 – 6 months the basics should be in place
- You can accelerate your progress by completing your to-do list earlier. You set the pace.
How much of my time will meetings with my Securo Health & Safety consultant take?”
Short and sharp meetings with your Securo Health & Safety consultant (of approximately one hour in duration) are scheduled in with you at regular intervals. The frequency depends on which package you select Most likely you’ll be allocated some homework following each meeting
Who is responsible for H&S? Just the H&S co-ordinator? Just management? Just the employees?
Every single person in your organisation is responsible. For example:
- Owners/Directors: Your governance role means you need to ensure the business has the resources to operate safely. The new law increases your responsibilities (and penalties).
- Management/Supervisors: You need to ensure your teams follow the policies and procedures in place. What training is needed to ensure competency?
- H&S co-ordinator: You take action and make the improvements detailed in the H&S plan
- Wardens: You are trained for emergency situations. When did you do a drill last?
- H&S representatives: You represent the employees on your H&S committee
- Your Securo H&S consultant: Our primary role is to facilitate the implementation of your customised H&S system

How much does help from Securo Health & Safety cost?
- Under a bespoke annual servicing plan with an onsite consultant, we charge a set-up fee and monthly fees
- Plus, you can expect us to make suggestions for improvements to your workplace which may require additional investment (eg safety signage, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) etc)
Do you provide a way to report Health and Safety incidents or hazards via mobile device whilst in the field?
Yes. You can use your mobile device to capture and report Health and Safety incidents or hazards, as-and-when they are identified, via our “Securo App” for existing clients. It is a useful add-on to our existing Securo Online Health and Safety system.
The new application works on smart phones / tablets / laptops (anything with a web browser).

Do you provide a way to record minutes and attendance for our Toolbox H&S meetings?
Yes. We’ve just added this functionality to the Securo App.
For your Toolbox H&S meetings you can use this new module in our app to:
- Capture meeting minutes
- Record attendance
- Email out these minutes to selected team members
The Securo App works on smart phones / tablets / laptops (anything with a web browser), and is available to all existing Securo clients.
